Tactical Source is a division of Global Envoy, Inc., a West Michigan Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business with the additional certification from the National Veteran Business Development Council. 

We target Set-Aside RFPs, RFQs, Sources Sought and other business opportunites with Federal, State and local governments along with private firms requiring these designations.

David DeAvila

David brings over 20 years of  business experience with Fortune 1000 companies. He has traveled to or lived in 75 different countries.  David holds a patent for an invention he created for Herman Miller Inc. along with having been part owner in Ceiling Scenes prior to its sale to a Farmington Hills, Michigan company. David also created products for the funeral industry that he launched for two separate companies.  Along those same lines, David was part owner in a start-up company, Eternal Image that licensed products for the funeral industry.

His background and experience were the catalyst in starting Global Envoy, Inc., a company that assists manufacturers with growing their exports.  In February, 2017, Global Envoy, Inc. received their Service Disabled veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) certification by the Center for Verification and Evaluation  (CVE) and their National Veteran Business Development Council (NVBDC) certification in July, 2017.  Once certified, a decision was made to created the dba of Tactical Source in order to supply Federal, State and local governments along with private corporations that require such set-aside designations.

Cheryl DeAvila

Cheryl has more than two decades of sales and leadership experience ranging between small business, non-profit and Fortune 10 enterprise. She built the business to business Retention and Acquisition sales teams for Michigan. Cheryl was the Regional Vice President of the Midwest/East Business Acquisition channel for AT&T driving $1.7M in new monthly recurring revenue through new business acquisition.  Cheryl is a driven, self-directed individual who recently made the decision to give back to her community. She most recently was responsible for Major Gifts at the Heart of West Michigan United Way for which she carried co-responsibility for securing individual donations of $4.4M annually. Her broad executive experience ensures that Tactical Source meets the demanding needs of our customers through her strategic and customer care capabilities.

Ashley DeAvila

We are excited to have Ashley serve as our website store designer/builder.  Here unique skills, including being the owner of her own business in Copperas Cove, Texas, makes her the perfect person to ensure that our brand and vendor products are well represented on our website for the benefit of our customers.  She earned her degree at Tri-County Community College in Murphy, NC.  She is married to an Army Aviator, has three wonderful young children and has lived in North Carolina, Georgia, Alaska and Texas.  We are fortunate to have such a talented, detail oriented team member at Tactical Source.
